They may feel weak and can't concentrate. These symptoms can occur even at low blood levels. Individuals can be exposed to lead in several ways. Soil contamination is the result of old paint chips and runoffs from leaded gas seeping to the ground. Lead based paint and gas were banned in the 70s. Some metal workers can be exposed to lead toxic levels.
